For players: Golf Tournament starting at 09 A.M.

For non-players:

  • A visit at the Queen Marie Castle in Balchik.
  • Painting workshop that had Queen Marie as inspiration, at the Lighthouse Hotel Reception.
  • Evening Ball at the Alexandra Restaurant – Lighthouse Hotel precinct.

The event was an OPEN tournament and registration was open to all amateur registered golf players.

Queen Marie Cup took place on the 18 holes course and was organized on four divisions as follows:

  • A Division Men – HCP 0 – 16, Stroke Net system;
  • B Division Men – HCP 17 – 36, Stable Ford system;
  • D Division Ladies – HCP 0 – 36, Stable Ford system.
  • Queen Marie Cup Throphy was won by the player with the best Stroke Net result.

Queen Marie Cup is taking place on the 18 holes course, in Stable ford system, and it complies to the Golf Rules approved by Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews and to the local regulations. Flights are set by Sport Committee, according to the list of registered players until deadline and starts from many tees.

For Hole-In-One on the Hole 17, Lighthouse Golf & SPA Resort, offered an apartment as a prize, but it was not awarded.

On the saturday evening all guests were invited to the Queen Marie Ball and to the awarding ceremony.
